With growing power demands from lithium RV batteries and higher-capacity DCDC chargers, these larger Anderson plugs are essential for safe, efficient charging. Voltage drop over cables makes it critical to select an Anderson plug rated above your charger’s maximum current:
Use 120A Anderson plugs for 50A DCDC chargers
Use 175A Anderson plugs for chargers between 60-100A or higher
Always choose a plug rating higher than your actual current to ensure safe operation and minimal power loss.
Important Notes
Bracket designed for driver’s side mounting only
If you also need a 50A Anderson plug, this must be mounted on the passenger side or connected via an adapter (120/175A to 50A)
